Sarraf Strata donate $25,000 to charity to wear Inaugural Mayoral Chains
Bayside Mayor, Bill Saravinovski is using his mayoral chains to raise money for local charities and is asking local businesses to get behind him. The tone of his term was set the moment he was elected and posed for his first official photograph with Mr Sarraf of Sarraf Strata who asked if he could try on the mayoral chains.
“I told him he could wear the chains for five minutes if he donated $25,000 to a worthy charity. I thought he would never agree but he said throw in the first photo and you have a deal,” Mayor Saravinovski said. “I didn’t hesitate. He wore the chains for five minutes. I posed for a photo with him and Camp Quality received a very nice donation.”
