Norman Sarraf criticises loophole in law to protect home buyers from dodgy developers

The NSW Minister for Better Regulation, Matt Kean, promised home buyers that they would be better protected from unscrupulous developers by a defect bond scheme that would provide money to pay for building defects.

“This scheme will give comfort to home owners who previously would have fallen victim to dodgy developers who took construction short cuts – leaving purchasers out of pocket”, Mr Kean said.
